Frequently Asked Questions
Does it cost to register your pets?
No, we offer a free consultation, meet and greet at your home at a time to suit you to introduce ourselves to both you and your pet and go through registration paperwork.
Are you restricted to walking a certain sized dog?
We are happy to walk dogs of all sizes. However we will not walk dogs that show any form of aggression or have not been socialised.
Walking in all seasons?
We walk in any weather and will happily towel down your dog before bringing them home. Dogs love exploring new areas, we have a vast knowledge of the area and do like to take them to different places to keep it interesting and to give them plenty of exercise and stimulation.
If you have a dog coat for them and would like us to use it then we are more than happy to put them on and hang them up when we return your pet.

Do you give treats?
Treats are only given if your dog is allowed and in reward for good behaviour.
Do you allow the dogs to be walked off lead?
Initially we start off on a lead until we are confident we have their full control. We prefer letting dogs off their lead so they can explore their surroundings and socialise with the dog group to get the mental and physical stimulation they need. However, if you prefer we can keep your dog on a lead and you just need to let us know at the consultation. But if your dog shows sign of being agitated/uncontrollable while on lead due to the rest of the group running/playing around we will consider our options.
What areas do you cover dog walking?
We are based in Northern Moor, South Manchester and cover the following areas: Sale, Northenden, Northern Moor, Wythenshawe, Brooklands, Sharston and surrounding areas.
Are you insured?
Yes, we are pet insured with ‘Protectivity Insurance’ which includes Public Liability cover. A copy of our insurance certificate can be seen at the initial consultation or click on the logo at the bottom of the page to see a summary of our cover.
Do you only take pre-booked dogs on walks?
We can walk your dog(s) at short notice as long as we can fit them into the planned walks. If we do have a group of more than 4 dogs this will mean we have 2 walkers.
Security
We are DBS checked (Formerly CRB) and a copy of certificate can be shown on initial consultation.
How much advanced notice do you require for cancellations?
For cancellations of walks for a period of 4-5 days or more then one months notice is required. For cancellations of 1-3 days walks then one weeks notice is required. If the required notice is not given charges will be applied in full for the cancelled period.
What happens in an emergency and if my dog(s) needed medical attention?
At our initial consultation we take down your vets’ details and aim to take your dog(s) in an emergency to your registered vet and will contact you immediately to keep you up to date, any and all bills associated with your dog's visit(s) will at all times remain your responsibility.
How do we pay for your services?
We accept bank transfers, cash or cheque either after a walk or in weekly/monthly installments.
Why employ a dog walker?
Sometimes owners are unable to exercise their pet because of work commitments or ill health. Dogs can become bored very easily if not stimulated enough which can lead to destructive behaviour, neighbour nuisance with excessive barking through no fault of their own.
Dogs thrive on daily exercise and socialising with other dogs.
