So it's been a crazy year so far especially with Covid-19 completely affecting the whole world.
Bizarrely this is this first year where we never booked any holidays away and we have usually planned them at least a year in advance. With all the madness that went on we decided to shut our business for 9 weeks as we didn't want to take any risks at the time not only with our health but our customers too. A few dog walkers decided to carry on as normal but for us it's never just been about the money, sometimes in cases like this you need to weigh up the options and with little known at the time about coronavirus we thought it was safer to stop working. The start of lockdown was pretty crazy with queues for food shopping (luckily we had enough toilet roll beforehand), businesses closing and only being allowed out once a day to exercise. So what kept us sane during this time ??? Having dogs. I really do think if it wasn't for having Snoop and Poppy during lockdown it would of probably sent us crazy. Granted you could only exercise once a day but Vanessa and I took it in turns to take the dogs out morning and afternoon and then there's just them being around while we were stuck in the house. Pets really do make a difference to people's mental health and we couldn't imagine not having dogs around us.
